    • 1.  Thomas & Rachel Watts Day left Challock, Kent Co., England in 1826.  NOT 1836!!!  They are on the 1830 Census in Wheeling, W.Va.as Thomas Day with 4 sons & a wife- no names given.
      2. The info was collected by ETHEL Day Hildenstein NOT Hilda!!! She was the daughter of Walter & Julia Rabbitt Day.  Granddaughter of Edwin & Matilda Hill  Day.
Every place I have Hilda should be ETHEL

      1830 - Thomas Day - 4 sons & wife
      1840 - Rachel Day (l female 30 under 40; 2 males 10 under 15; 2 males 15 under 20) (apparently Thomas died between 1830 and 1840 - ETHEL'S  Family notes has a note - Thomas was buried in Cleveland,OH.)    Rachel & 4 sons living in the 4th Ward, Wheeling, W.VA.
      1850 - Rachel (Davis) (ETHEL's Fam.
