      ◦ Beers History of Miami Co. says he had 1st mill on the Stillwater River. Family tradition says it was a woolen mill.
      ◦ Early Ohio Census by R. V. Jackson in WPGS library shows Frederick Yount in Gallipolis Twp. Washington Co. in 1800
      ◦ Deed dated 23 Dec 1825 for purchase by Frederick Yount and Mary his wife of the County of Miami from William Fincher of the same county (and his brother-in-law) and state for $243 for land parcel containing
