- Mrs. Anna E. Loveland
Mrs. Anna E. Loveland, an old resident of Alexandria dropped while
awaiting the arrival of a train on which she was intending to return
home. The deceased was visiting her son in the hope of improving her
health by the change of climate but receiving no benefit determined to
return home. She only got as far as the depot when she expired in the
waiting room. The sad affair occurred at Grand Valley, Colorado, Jan
5th. She was 70 years, 6 months and 22 days old and her death is of
special interest here by reason of the fact that she was a sister of Mr.
S. Gardner and Mrs. M. E. Cantrell both former residents of this
village. One daughter, Mrs. John Irwin of Alexandria and two sons - - -
H. Branson of Anoka and William Branson of Grand Valley, Colorado,
together with two brothers and the same number of sisters are left to
mourn her death. Sympathy for our former townspeople in their
bereavement is felt by their old neighbors in this village and vicinity.
