Name |
Father BUNDY |
Gender |
Male |
Occupation |
Overseer of plantation, with over 100 slaves. [1] |
Religion |
Quaker |
Notes |
- Mr. Bundy was the overseer of a plantation, which included over 100 slaves. During this time the Quakers in North Carolina were completing the exodus to the Ohio Valley, largely because of the slavery issue. It appears out of form for a Quaker to oversee slaves. This should be researhed further, using the MM of the local Meeting House.
