Son William appears on the 1871 Kelstern census as being age 9. This places his birth at about 1862--which is about 5 years before the marriage of Ephraim and Lucy. As a result, it is possible that either Ephraim or Lucy were married prior to this marriage; or that a child was born out of wedlock. An optional theory is that Lucy's "middle" name of Allet is actually her maiden name, or her surname from a prior marriage. This needs to be reviewed and researched.
